Ability to Rip data CD/DVD Options

How about extending the ability of ripping audio CDs to ripping data CDs/DVDs to .iso images on the PC? Seems like all the parts are in place, just need a function to do it! It would allow us to combine older CD/DVDs onto a hard disk (or later blu-ray) for archiving.
